Inside Britney & Kevin’s Blowup

On Nov. 30 Britney Spears and her husband, Kevin Federline, had such a heated argument that, a source close to the couple tells PEOPLE in its latest issue, Spears dropped the D-word, and Federline bolted from their Malibu home.

“She wanted a divorce,” says a friend of Spears’s. And, says a source close to Federline, “when she’s upset with him, he likes to give her some space. I don’t think she’s upset with him because of something specific he’s done. I think she’s overwhelmed with her new lifestyle – being a wife and mother – and sometimes takes it out on the people who she’s closest to and who she knows will stick around.” - People

Diamond Dallas Sues Jay-Z Over ‘Diamond Cutter’ Hand Sign

Former pro wrestler Diamond Dallas Page is suing Jay-Z, claiming the hip-hop heavyweight has illegally adopted his trademark hand gesture — the “Diamond Cutter” — as his own.

The suit, filed in Los Angeles Federal Court on Friday, accuses Jay-Z and Roc-A-Fella Records of trademark and copyright infringement as well as misappropriation of the hand symbol. Page is seeking an injunction (meaning Jay-Z would be prohibited from using the gesture) and unspecified monetary damages.

Page’s lawyer, George Gallegos, said Diamond Dallas (born Page Falkinberg) brought the legal action against the Def Jam CEO in order to protect his livelihood.

“People would come up to him and ask him if he was letting Jay-Z use it or if he had licensed it to him,” Gallegos said of the symbol, which he claims his client created in 1996 and copyrighted years ago. “People [would also] say he’s using Jay-Z’s sign.” - MTV News

Thanks Mike for the article! Yeah you see the “Diamond Cutter” everywhere now…football games and basketball games, hip-hop concerts..its hilarious!

“Battle Angel”

“The Hollywood Reporter brings news that high-tech moviemaker James Cameron is finally ready to get going with a new (fictional) feature. It’s a sci-fi thriller called “Battle Angel,” and it’ll probably makes loads of money.

James Cameron is moving forward on his next helming project, the sci-fi thriller “Battle Angel” for 20th Century Fox. The film marks the director’s long-anticipated follow-up to “Titanic,” which Fox co-financed with Paramount Pictures.

“Battle Angel” is described as a big-budget adaptation of a 12-part Japanese manga series set in the 26th century that centers on 14-year-old female cyborg named Alita.” - Rottentomatoes

Finally! James Cameron is back… He’s not doing “Aquaman”, like he was potrayed in doing in “Entourage”, but this is a really good follow up.
