Santa wants to stay with Mets
Before they became Santa and Mrs. Claus yesterday, they did what was best for Kris and Anna Benson, meeting in person with Mets officials to discuss their future.
Kris and Anna Benson want desperately to remain with the Mets, a sentiment they have expressed to the team over the phone in recent weeks, and they took the opportunity yesterday to tell that to general manager Omar Minaya and COO Jeff Wilpon in person. - NY Newsday
The last Mets players that played Santa was John Franco and Mike Cameron… both were traded afterwards…hehe!
