Hey Arn, they found more rings aroung Uranus!!

Uranus is extremely gaseous; and the faint, dusty rings orbit outside of Uranus’ previously known rings, but within the orbits of its large moons.

The new measurements suggest that the moons of Uranus are in a “random and chaotic” fashion.

Jets’ Chrebet calls it a career

Jets receiver Wayne Chrebet said Thursday his career was over, one month after sustaining a season-ending concussion.

Chrebet spent 11 seasons with his hometown team after signing as an undrafted free agent out of Hofstra, but was plagued with head injuries the last few seasons. Though he was undersized at 5-foot-10, he quickly became a clutch possession receiver, working his way up the team record charts. - SI.com

Bengals Receiver Chad Johnson Wishes for a Whitetail Celebration

Chad Johnson is dreaming of a whitetail Christmas. The Bengals receiver suggested Tuesday that he has a special touchdown celebration planned for Cincinnati’s game on Christmas Eve one that will top his Riverdance, his end zone putt and his sideline proposal from earlier this season.

A surrogate reindeer, perhaps?

“On the highway, I hit a deer,” Johnson said Tuesday, insisting he was serious and that the animal wasn’t hurt. “I kept him. He’s at home in the garage. I’m going to use him for the celebration this weekend. He’s a prop. They might suspend me for the last game, but I think this one is worth it.”

“But this Saturday, I’ll be back to my old self,” he said. “You can look forward to the celebration being part of something that has to do with Christmas. It’s going to be fun. I might get in trouble, so I might as well let that out now. I might get in trouble for what I’m going to do, but it’s worth it.”

Johnson was excited by the thought of getting a deer into the end zone routine. His Riverdance brought him national attention as a hoofer. Now, he’s fixated on hooves.

“This is going to be the greatest celebration of all time, man,” he said. “I actually use an animal.” - ABC News

Snowzilla

With the help of his kids and neighbors, Billy Ray Powers built more than just a snowman — they’ve dubbed his 16-plus-foot-tall creation “Snowzilla.”

After using up all the snow in the family’s yard, they turned to neighbors’ yards and carried buckets on sleds. They hand-packed the snowman like an ice-cream cone.

“It’s solid ice,” he said. “I put the arms in with my power drill.”

It took a month to complete the project. It was too big to use buttons for its eyes, so Snowzilla gazes over the neighborhood from beer bottles. - SFGate.com

Turbosteamer Hybrid Engine

“BMW is unveiling its turbosteamer hybrid engine, which uses the excess heat in the exhaust system and reclaims 80% of it by powering a steam engine that assists the gas engine. Overall, this gives a 15% more efficient engine; and significant additional performance (power and torque) with practically no downside. “This project resolves the apparent contradiction between consumption and emission reductions on one hand, and performance and agility on the other,” commented Professor Burkhard Göschel. Are steam engines the future of environmental-friendly hybrid vehicles?” - Slashdot
