Roethlisberger Gets Shave From Letterman

David Letterman shaves Pittsburg Steelers quarterback Ben Roethlisberger on the set of The Late Show with David Letterman, Monday, Feb. 6, 2006. On Sunday, Feb. 5, Roethlisberger led the Steelers to their first Super Bowl victory in 26 years by defeating the Seattle Seahawks by a score of 21-10. - Yahoo

haha…finally! He’s starting to look like Grizzly Adams. He played terrible in the Superbowl though. The lowest QB rating for a winning Superbowl team ever! They won, but Seattle outplayed them

Sony Computer Entertainment America Along With Jessica Alba Celebrated Football’s Champions at PlayStation(R) Game Over

Sony Computer Entertainment America was joined by the hottest stars in sports and entertainment, including Antwaan Randle El of the Pittsburgh Steelers, fresh from their championship win, Jessica Alba, Usher, and Kid Rock to celebrate the champions of the biggest game in sports on Sunday, February 5 at the exclusive PlayStation® Game Over party. Located at the GEM Theater across the street from all the action at Ford Field, PlayStation Game Over commemorated football’s greatest night with a premier post-game destination that was fully equipped with all the amenities a sports enthusiast could want. - Yahoo

Awesome! I’m sure most of the celebrities couldn’t wait for the game to be over to go to the Playstation Game Over party. I wish I was there….not only to see Jessica, but they had race cars and “a chance to experience the ultimate in entertainment and gaming with interactive environments”. I thought the Superbowl was….eh.

Stones’ Sounds of Silence at Super Bowl

The Pittsburgh Steelers may have claimed an impressive 21-10 Super Bowl victory over the Seattle Seahawks on Sunday night, but the Rolling Stones delivered a strong showing, too.

Only hitch: fearful of a possible Janet Jackson-like live-TV gaffe, ABC censors on behalf of the NFL put the Stones on hold, with a five-second tape delay during the rockers’ 12-minute halftime gig.

And the censors are reportedly happy they did. Unheard by home audiences were two sexually explicit lyrics. In “Start Me Up,” a word was dropped (a reference to a woman’s sexual sway over a dead man), while “Rough Justice” got blipped, too (a synonym for rooster). - People

You know what would have been better? Coldplay, The Killers,…Kelly Clarkson and the Pussycat Dolls

Lingerie Bowl

New York Euphoria’s Sheena Mariano (C) breaks away from Los Angeles Temptation’s Lauren Bergfeld (2nd L) during the third annual Lingerie Bowl football game in Los Angeles February 5, 2006. The 30-minute game features models playing full-contact football in lingerie and airs locally on pay-per-view during half time of the NFL’s Super Bowl XL football game. - Yahoo

I saw it… It was actually more exciting then the real Superbowl! hehe

Montana, Bradshaw deny missing ceremony over $$

When the NFL unveiled its MVPs from the previous 39 Super Bowls, only three living members skipped the ceremony.

Former 49ers quarterback Joe Montana and former Steelers quarterback Terry Bradshaw decided to stay home, while former Dolphins MVP Jake Scott was traveling in Australia.

Montana, the league’s only three-time Super Bowl MVP, and Bradshaw reportedly turned down the invitation over money.

Both denied the reports. - ESPN

They should have gone anyway… I heard they were givin two tickets to the game, free hotel, a cadillac for the weekend, expenses paid, and $1,000…there might have been more. I was surprised Bradshaw didn’t show up?!? He’s a Steeler and both have 5 MVP’s combined! Not cool!
