Anna Benson wants a divorce from Baltimore Orioles pitcher Kris Benson, who still thinks the New York Mets traded him because of his impulsive wife.

Anna Benson, an actress and model who has posed topless, filed for divorce in Atlanta on Thursday. The petition for divorce claims the marriage is “irretrievably broken.”

The couple has been married for seven years.

Kris Benson initially protested the deal that sent him to the Orioles. But now he thinks the Mets did him a favor.

“I was a little upset because I enjoyed my time in New York and I feel like they had a good team coming into the season,” Benson said in a recent interview. “But now that I realize the opportunity I have, it’s going to be a good career move for me.”

Pop-star Britney Spears is the “ideal” model for Pro-Life and the subject of a dedication at Capla Kesting Fine Art in Brooklyn’s Williamsburg gallery district, in what is proclaimed the first Pro-Life monument to birth, in April.

When some bloggers heard about the exhibit — “Monument to Pro-Life: The Birth of Sean Preston” — the gallery was inundated with about 3,000 e-mails from around the world in just a week, split between pro-choice and pro-life opinions.

“We also got calls from Tokyo, England, France. Some people are upset that Britney is being used for this subject matter,” said gallery co-owner David Kesting. “Others who are pro-life thought this was degrading to their movement. And some pro-choice people were upset that this is a pro-life monument.”

Clooney, Brad Pitt and Matt Damon will star in “Ocean’s 13,” the third flick in their franchise about a gang of lovable crooks, distributor Warner Bros. announced Monday.

Julia Roberts, Clooney’s love interest in the first two movies, and “Ocean’s Twelve” co-star Catherine Zeta-Jones will not be back for the third movie, according to Warner Bros.

A supporting-actor Oscar winner for the oil-industry thriller “Syriana,” Clooney will reprise his role as leader of the pack Danny Ocean, with the group pulling off a new heist in Las Vegas.

The studio expects the rest of the cast, including Don Cheadle, Andy Garcia, Bernie Mac, Carl Reiner and Elliott Gould, will return. Joining the cast will be Ellen Barkin.

The Pulp Fiction star will feature in Farce of the Penguins, giving a racy commentary dubbed over authentic and fake penguin footage.

Bjorn Borg has decided not to auction off his five Wimbledon trophies after all.

The Swedish great, the only player to win five straight Wimbledon titles, changed his mind after pleas from his fans, London auction house Bonhams said Monday.

Borg had announced earlier this month he would sell his trophies and two of his title-winning wood rackets in order to achieve “financial security.”

“After great consideration and reasoning, I have decided that I will never sell my Wimbledon trophies and rackets and I have withdrawn them from sale,” Borg said in a statement. - SI.com
