Derek Jeter Baseball Card

“As President Bush smiled and waved from the stands and Mickey Mantle looked on from the dugout, Derek Jeter swung his bat. Talk about pressure.
The game never happened, of course. It was just someone’s idea of a visual gag — pulled off in a recent Topps baseball card through digital manipulation.”

“The Departed” wins best-picture Oscar & Martin Scorsese wins best director
I’m so happy for Martin Scorsese. He finally got one. With all the great movies he has done he deserved it the most. He was nominated previously for best director for:
1980 Raging Bull
1988 The Last Temptation of Christ
1990 Goodfellas
2002 Gangs of New York
2004 The Aviator
It was also cool that 3 legendary film directors of our time (George Lucas, Francis Ford Coppola, and Steven Spielberg) presented it to him.
My top five movies of last year were:
1. The Departed
2. Inside Man
3. Little Miss Sunshine
4. The Devil Wears Prada
5. Talladega Nights: The Ballad of Ricky Bobby
Rememeber, “The Departed” was based on a chinese movie called “Infernal Affairs”. Brad Pitt’s Production company called Plan B Entertainment acquired the rights. “Infernal Affairs” was actually a trilogy. “Infernal Affairs II” was a prequel while III was a sequel. There are rumors that there might be more “The Departed” films, but who knows…

James Cameron to reveal coffin of Jesus

“Brace yourself. James Cameron, the man who brought you ‘The Titanic’ is back with another blockbuster. This time, the ship he’s sinking is Christianity.
In a new documentary, Producer Cameron and his director, Simcha Jacobovici, make the starting claim that Jesus wasn’t resurrected –the cornerstone of Christian faith– and that his burial cave was discovered near Jerusalem. And, get this, Jesus sired a son with Mary Magdelene.
No, it’s not a re-make of “The Da Vinci Codes’. It’s supposed to be true.”
