Bizarre Foods with Andrew Zimmern

This is a really good show. Its a travel and cuisine program hosted by Andrew Zimmern on the Travel Channel. The first episode he travels to the Phiippines. The food looked so good and he seemed to really love the filipino dishes. Made me hungry! Here are some of the things he ate in the Philippines:

* Balut (duck eggs with legs)
* Roasted coconut and rice pastec.
* Sinabawang balut (balut soup with cow’s feet)
* Uok (giant coconut worms)
* Gin-a-tang-bi-low bi-low (rice pudding with tapioca pearls)
* Dinuguan (pork innards and pig’s blood stew)
* Frog stuffed with pork
* Lumpia (Filipino egg rolls)
* Tilapias
* Bananaque (deep-fried, sugar-coated banana)

Bizarre Foods focuses on regional cuisine from around the world which is typically perceived by the American masses as being “gross”, “unique”, or of course, “bizarre”. In each episode, Zimmern focuses on the cuisine of a particular country or region. He typically shows how the food is procured, where it is served, and, usually without hesitation, eats it. - Wikipedia

Details Talks With Justin Timberlake

About his first solo album, Justified, he says:
“I tried so hard to be an R&B artist, and it was pop album of the year, and I was like, ‘F—. That’s the last thing I wanted.’ But I was like, ‘So everyone considers me a pop artist? Well, f— it. I’m going to do whatever I want to do.”

One thing he wishes he hadn’t done, he admits, was “My Grammy Moment” during the February awards show, when a contest winner got to perform alongside him:
Though he wanted to cancel the appearance, Timberlake says, he didn’t, “Because I’m the nice guy who follows through on the things he commits to. But I don’t know if I’ll be going through that sort of thing again. I feel like the Grammys used me for ratings. And look at it – they were up 18 percent.” - People
