The Jets are scheduled to play the ‘Boys on Thanksgiving day!

Jason Ray, a North Carolina student who performed as a mascot for the school’s basketball team, died three days after being struck by a car hours before an NCAA Tournament game. He was 21.

Ray had been in critical condition at Hackensack University Medical Center since the accident Friday afternoon. He was hit from behind while walking on a highway shoulder near his Fort Lee hotel after going to a nearby convenience store.

Ray performed as UNC’s ram mascot, Rameses. He was scheduled to graduate in May with a major in business administration and a minor in religion. He was in New Jersey for the men’s game between North Carolina and Southern California. - ESPN

Martin Scorsese is looking to direct Leonardo DiCaprio in the film adaptation of Jordan Belfort’s upcoming tell-all autobiography “The Wolf of Wall Street” for Warner Bros. Pictures, with “The Sopranos” scribe Terence Winter aboard to write.

In “Wolf of Wall Street” DiCaprio would play Belfort, a Long Island penny stockbroker who served 20 months in prison for refusing to cooperate in a massive 1990s securities fraud case that involved widespread corruption on Wall Street and in the corporate banking world, including mob infiltration. - Variety

I always wondered how ‘South Park’ is made. There was one episode a couple of years ago, entitled “Best Friends Forever“, which parodied the Terri Schiavo controversy. The episode aired hours after her death.

Their intense production schedule gives the creators flexibilty and allows them to keep the show current. They work 100-120 hours a week for 7 weeks at a time. The episode is completed and sent to Comedy Central the morning its set to air.
