So sad…sympathies to Oprah. Golden Retrievers are such good dogs. I think my next dog would be a Golden Retriever, Lab, or a Greater Swiss Mountain Dog. Michael Vick probably was responsible!

Oprah Winfrey has lost Gracie, one of her Golden Retrievers, after she chocked on a plastic ball that belonged to her older cocker spaniel Sophie, reports Popbytes.

When Oprah adopted the three Golden Retrievers back in 2005, she introduced them to the world as ‘her new family’ on her show. The two remaining adoptees are named Luke and Layla. All three pups were on the cover of her magazine at two different times. - Post Chronicle
