Luis Castillo Traded To New York Mets
Good trade for the Mets. They gave up nothing for Castillo. He’s a good vet. Plays good defense and batting over .300 now. I remember him being a pain in the ass when he played for the Marlins. Now he can be a pain in the ass for other teams when he plays for the Mets.
The Minnesota Twins announced today that they have traded second baseman Luis Castillo to the New York Mets in exchange for catcher Drew Butera and centerfielder Dustin Martin.
Castillo, 31, batted .304 (106-for-349) with 54 runs scored, 11 doubles, three triples and 18 RBIs in 85 games for the Twins this season. - MLB
