New York Giants defensive end Michael Strahan to play in 2007

Update: Both Tim Hasselbeck and Will Demps are no longer on the Giants. Tim was cut (sorry Elizabeth) and Will Demps was put on IR, basically making him a free agent and on to another team.

Seven-time Pro Bowl defensive end Michael Strahan has decided to end his holdout and return for a 15th NFL season with the New York Giants.

“He went with his heart instead of his head,” Tony Agnone, his agent, said in a telephone interview with The Associated Press on Friday evening. “He felt at this point he was part of the team, and he was going to go to battle with them.”

Thank God its finally over! Even if he misses the entire preseason, he can still just play and make a big impact. He has been working out on his own.

So far the 1st team defense looks impressive. They are making some big mistakes, but that’s cause they are still learning the new more aggressive Steve “Spaghetti” Spagnuolo defense. Kiwi is up and down in his new position at linebacker. Sometimes he looks great and other times he looks lost!

But the best player in the summer and preseason so far is Eli Manning. Brandon Jacobs and Reuben “Attack of the…” Droughns looked ok, but the player that impressed me the most was Ahmad “not Terry” Bradshaw.

A&P sues brothers over vegetable video

Two New Jersey brothers sacked from their grocery jobs for filming a gangsta rap parody at the store now face a defamation lawsuit from their former employer.

A&P claims the video by Mark and Matthew D’Avella motivated at least one “disgusted and distressed” customer to boycott the supermarket because of the video’s “repulsive acts.”

The Montvale-based chain seeks at least $1 million in compensation and demands that the D’Avellas remove “Produce Paradise” from the Internet. On Tuesday it remained on YouTube and the brothers’ Web site. - Yahoo
