Time is Not Your Friend
Another crazy Japanese gameshow…
Barry Bonds hit for home run No. 756 to be branded with an asterisk
The ball Barry Bonds hit for his record-breaking 756th home run will be branded with an asterisk and sent to the Baseball Hall of Fame, its owner said Wednesday.
Fashion designer Marc Ecko, who bought the ball in an online auction, set up a Web site for fans to vote on the ball’s fate, and the decision to brand it won out over the other options, sending it to the museum unblemished or launching it into space.
“We’re going to be working with the folks at the Hall of Fame,” Ecko said on NBC’s “Today” show.
The Winner Of Sci-Fi Monday Is….

Journeyman! That was a great show! It showed after ‘Heroes’. Basically it has elements of “Quanum Leap”, “Heroes” , and “Lost” all put together…with great music in the background. Kevin McKidd’s character, Dan Vasser goes on “trips” in the past and has to save people’s lives. BUT he doesn’t always know whose life he is saving.
It was weird hearing Kevin McKidd with an American accent. I’m used to hearing him with his English accent when he did “Rome” on HBO. Moon Bloodgood stars as Livia Beale. You might have seen her in “Eight Below“. She was born to an American father of Dutch and Irish descent and a South Korean mother. Moon’s character, Livia Beale was Dan Vassers girlfriend, but supposedly died in an airplane crash in the past….or did she???
As for “Heroes“, the first episode is always going to be really confusing with plenty of questions to give you. So the Latina girl of the wonder twins has some sorta “virus power”? And she needs her brother to control it? hmm… Who’s the guy putting out the hit on people? Sylar? And Takezo Kensei a.k.a. “the last samurai” is he a bad or good hero? Does he even have powers?
As for “Chuck“….better watch out you might get cancelled! Even with the beautiful Sarah Lancaster and the super hot Yvonne Strahovski on the show….not sure if it has potential…but the last 10 seconds gave it hope!
BTW, if you missed any of these shows, you can see them again on NBC.com
‘Halo 3′ In Stores Today!
Microsoft geared up Monday to launch Halo 3, the acclaimed science-fiction video game that it hopes will widen its lead over rival Sony in the battle for industry dominance.
The equivalent of a new Harry Potter book or Star Wars film for the $30 billion video game industry, Halo 3 has drawn wide praise from reviewers for its lush settings, cinematic story and breadth of features.
