Steve Jobs to Early Adopters - ‘Here’s $100, stop your bitching!’

“First, I am sure that we are making the correct decision to lower the price of the 8GB iPhone from $599 to $399, and that now is the right time to do it. iPhone is a breakthrough product, and we have the chance to ‘go for it’ this holiday season. iPhone is so far ahead of the competition, and now it will be affordable by even more customers. It benefits both Apple and every iPhone user to get as many new customers as possible in the iPhone ‘tent’. We strongly believe the $399 price will help us do just that this holiday season.

[…]

Therefore, we have decided to offer every iPhone customer who purchased an iPhone from either Apple or AT&T, and who is not receiving a rebate or any other consideration, a $100 store credit towards the purchase of any product at an Apple Retail Store or the Apple Online Store. Details are still being worked out and will be posted on Apple’s website next week. Stay tuned.

We want to do the right thing for our valued iPhone customers. We apologize for disappointing some of you, and we are doing our best to live up to your high expectations of Apple.”

Federer interview after beating Roddick … US Open 2007 Commentators: Agassi & McEnroe

What can I say? Federer is a master!

Fed (Agassi’s nickname for Roger) won 14 of the last 15 matches against Roddick. Only 2 players have ever had Federer go 5 sets at the Open. One of those players was Andre Agassi. BTW, what a treat it was to hear Andre’s analysis of the game. You can learn so much by just listening to him. Its great! I hope he does more matches!

I especially liked how Andre picked up something on Boris Becker’s serve. If he sticks out his tongue a certain direction, that’s where he’s going to serve it! funny!

The thing I love about Fed is that he is a genuine nice guy. He’s articulate, altruistic, softspoken, self-deprecating, has integrity and just a classy person. He’s a perfect ambassador for the game. Plus he moves so gracefully like he’s dancng out there. Other guys like Roddick and Nadal play so “violently”.

Fed showed off his brillance in front of greats like Andre Agassi, John McEnroe, Boris Becker, Guillermo Vilas, Ilie Nastase and even Jerry Seinfeld, Natalie Portman and Larry David!

Serena Shows a “A Champion’s Touch of Class”

Geez, how classless can you be, Serena?!?! Serena also stated that, “I just think she made a lot of lucky shots and I made a lot of errors.” Also during one point of the match, she called Henin a bitch while getting ready to return serve…funny!
