Cooking Mama Wii

I dont have a Wii, but I know it has pretty cool games for it. I know Amanda has one! I’ve heard of Wii Sports and the Mario games, but amazingly enough a cooking game has sold 1.6 million units!

Majesco’s sleeper hit Cooking Mama series has sold over 1.6 million units thus far, the company said today.

The original game for Nintendo DS has sold over 1 million units all on its lonesome, and follow-ups for Wii and DS this year have pushed that total ever higher.

A second Wii entry in the series will be revealed soon and on shelves this year, Majesco said. - Wired

Balikbayan Box Cover

“The Balikbayan Box Cover is a heavy-duty canvas bag with reinforced seams and side handles that’s designed specifically to fit a 20″ x 20″ x 20″ cardboard box. The beauty of the box cover is that after TSA officials inspect and reseal your box, they can zip up the top flap on the bag closed and your box is further protected from re-opening.”

Santana Traded To The Mets!

Ok the pain of the Mets regular season collapse has finally come to an end today! (Actually it was gone, when the Giants beat the Cowboys :) )

The Minnesota Twins reached a tentative agreement Tuesday, Jan. 29, 2008, to trade Johan Santana to the New York Mets. After months of deliberation, the Twins agreed to send the two-time Cy Young Award winner. Looks like the Mets didn’t give up much. Like who is Deolis Guerra? Phil Humber and Kevin Mulvey have been slow developers so far. And don’t we have a Carlos Gomez clone named Fernando Martinez?! I’ve been also hearing that It is very possible they could sign Santana for just 5 years. Thanks Omar!

Santana, who turns 29 on March 13, went 15-13 with a 3.33 ERA and struck out 235 batters in 219 innings with the Twins last season.

Be sure to watch SNY’s SportsNite at 10 pm when they talk about the Mets recent trade for Johan Santana from the Twins.

The Mets and Twins are in agreement on a trade to send star pitcher Johan Santana to New York, contingent upon them agreeing with Santana on a multiyear deal, SI.com has confirmed.

The Mets agreed to send young outfielder Carlos Gomez plus pitching prospects Phil Humber, Kevin Mulvey and Deolis Guerra to Minnesota, providing they can lock up the two-time Cy Young award-winning Santana to a multiyear deal and he waives his no-trade veto powers. - SI

Hope the twins don’t send him like this…haha…

Quick Review Of ‘Cloverfield’

Ok no football this past weekend, so I check out Cloverfield.

Basically your watching found footage from a camcorder and you follow a story of a few friends in a middle of a disaster caused by this monster. Odette Yustman (my future wife) talks about the plot below…

First, if you come to this movie thinking your going to watch Godzilla (monster fighting) then you might be disappointed. Also if you easily get motion sickness, you might have problems. Especially in the beginning.

Anyway, I though it was pretty cool! The footage looks incredibly real! The special effects were amazing. I totally got sucked in and thought it was compelling. It felt like it was really happening!

This is what people that have seen it have said:

Camille: Stupid movie.

Keith: It was alright. I wanted to see more Alien monster action.

jason: Though it was cool!
