Rock Band Wii Arrives June 22
But will Not Offer Downloadable Songs or Online Play.
Despite pending litigation, MTV-owned developer Harmonix has announced that its music-based multi-instrument title Rock Band will hit the Wii on June 22 in North America.
The Wii version will come with a total of 63 songs, five of which are bonus songs. A full list of the 63 tracks was not provided, though the initial 58 are expected to mirror the 45 main songs and 13 bonus tracks of the previously-released PlayStation 2, PlayStation 3, and Xbox 360 editions.
A Special Edition bundle–containing a wireless guitar, drum kit, and microphone–will sell for $169.99. Stand alone instruments and software will also be available at release, allowing Special Edition buyers to pick up the extra guitar needed for a four-person band. - shacknews
‘Tropic Thunder’ - First Look
“In Tropic Thunder, an epic action comedy co-written and directed by Stiller, Robert Downey Jr. plays Kirk Lazarus, a very serious Oscar-winning actor cast in the most expensive Vietnam War film ever. Problem is, Lazarus’s character, Sgt. Osiris, was originally written as black. So Lazarus decides to dye his skin and play Osiris, um, authentically.”

‘The Hills’ Season Premiere Tonight 10-11PM MTV
Bonjour, Lauren and Whitney! The gal pals start off a 10-episode mini-season of MTV’s incredibly addictive reality series in France, and not since Sarah Jessica Parker hit the City of Lights on Sex and the City has Paris looked so romantic and couture-rific! In town for the glamorous Crillon Ball, the girls meet adorably dirty-looking French men and are styled in Alberta Ferretti gowns.
This is reality, after all! Back home, things are less pretty when Spencer ambushes Heidi at her parents’ house in Colorado. We much prefer our TV vacations to be more glamorous and Pratt-free. - EW
Enchanted On DVD: Review
Ok so I finally saw I Am Legend. Reminds me of Cast Away, but with vampires. Go see it if you haven’t already. Moves a little slow but has some good moments. Especially at the end. Also check out the alternative ending, which is included on the DVD or check it out online. Decide for yourself which one you like best.
So anyway, the last few movies I’ve seen were No Country For Old Men, 28 Weeks Later, 30 Days of Night, then I Am Legend. I said to myself, I need to see something more uplifting. There’s a copy of Enchanted right here.
I know that it is a Disney film and it made $300 million worldwide. Also on Rottentomatoes, it got an amazing 94%. That’s one of the highest rated on the website. People that I know that has seen it really loved it, so I decided to check it out.
It is REALLY GOOD! The film is both a homage to and a self-parody of conventional Disney animated features, makes numerous references to Disney’s past and future works. It starts out as an animated movie but quickly turns into live action. The performances were great. It stars Amy Adams, Patrick Dempsey, and James Marsden. The music was good. I believe some of the songs were nominated for Oscars. If your up for a good family, funny, feel good movie go see Enchanted. Below is a clip from the movie of a performance called “That’s How You Know”.
