Nadal Wears Hulk Green To Smash Federer
Nadal kicked Federer’s ass 6-1, 6-3, 6-0. Nadal was just too much for Fed proving he is still the King of clay. Federer will look for revenge at Wimbledon in a few weeks. With a noticeably improved two hand backhand, Nadal won his fourth consecutive French Open title in a rout Sunday, again spoiling Federer’s bid to complete a career Grand Slam.
It was Federer’s worst loss in his 173 Grand Slam matches, and the shortest Roland Garros men’s final in terms of games since 1977.
Rafa became the second man to win four consecutive French Open titles. Bjorn Borg did it in 1978-81.
Timberlake Beats Tiger Words
justin Timberlake completed the Torrey Pines course course in less than 100 strokes - beating Tiger Wood’s claim.
Tiger Woods said no amateur could go inside three figures on the demanding 7,643-yard course.
“I don’t see it happening,” said Woods last week. “People don’t realize how thick the rough is, and how difficult it is controlling shots.”
“It’ll be like five hours of root canal,” said Flesch. “It’s hard enough for any amateur to play a Tour course we play on, much less a US Open track.”
Tony Romo was also able to break 100.
